February Favourites!

It's nearly the 1st of March! Ehh.... is it just me or is this year just flying by? It feels like christmas was only yesterday! Anyway, it's time for my favourites from this month. This is my favourite time of the month, I love seeing what products other bloggers are into! This month I've tried lots of new products and they're now on my long list of favourites.

1. Rimmel Lash Accelerator Mascara

I absolutely love this mascara! It lengthens my lashes really well. It has a smaller brush than the mascaras I usually use but I found it easier to apply with. It claims to strengthen and nourish lashes, promoting natural lash growth to create fuller looking lashes in 30 days. I haven't been using it daily for 30 days so, I haven't noticed any change with my lashes. But however, I have been asked a few times what mascara I was wearing when I wasn't wearing any so, maybe it has made my lashes look a little bit fuller. I really like the packaging as well, I think it looks elegant and luxurious making it look more expensive than it actually is. ;-)

2. Aussie Take The Heat 3 Minute Miracle

This deep conditioner helps protect against heat damage. This is so good for my hair as I style it using heat quite a lot. Since I started using this I've stopped feeling as guilty about using heat on my hair. It's made with jojoba-seed oil so, it smells divine! Not to mention, it's very affordable too.

3. Soap and Glory Calm One Calm All Bubble Bath

I love Soap & Glory products!  I think their products are so fun and I love the 50's style pictures that they use. Apart from their very attractive packaging and their cute names for their products, in my opinion, they have the best smelling products on the market. This bubble bath smells like bubble gum and warm vanilla. It smells so delicious that sometimes I want to drink it! ;-) I love taking a bath with this, it's very calming and soothing. Perfect for if you had a bad day! It's got a built in body lotion so, of course it leaves my skin feeling very soft!

4. Nivea Vanilla & Macadamia Lip Butter

This is the second Nivea lip butter that I've used. I had the caramel cream version and honestly I thought that Nivea couldn't do any better than that gorgeous caramel scent. I was very wrong! The vanilla version is so much better! I can't even begin to describe how amazing this stuff smells. It kind of reminds me of vanilla ice-cream. This lip butter is very moisturising. It works wonders for my chapped lips!

5. Seventeen Miracle Matte Concealer Stick

This concealer does a great job of covering any blemishes or imperfections that I have. I use it in the shade fair. I think this is a neat, handy little thing for popping it into my bag when I'm on the go. It doesn't dry out my skin and it lasts all day without a shine.

6. Baylis & Harding Beauticology Strawberry Swirl Shower Cream

This is the shower cream that I've been using this month and I love it! It smells gorgeous! I got this in a set of mini Baylis & Harding products for christmas. This is actually the first time that I've used this brand and I have to say I'm impressed. I might try some of their other products.

7. Divergent

Ahh.... my new love! When I read this book I could not put it down! It's such such an exciting and captivating book. There is so much suspense in it. I'd definitely recommend you to read it if you haven't already. I can't wait for the movie which is coming out soon!

Hope you enjoyed my favourites this month! You can read last month's favourites Here

What I Wore | Film Premiere Of 'Ride Along'

On Monday, I won a competition on twitter with Universal Ireland to go to the premiere of 'Ride Along' last night. Before the film, there was a pre-party in ThunderRoad Cafe, Temple Bar, where there was a buffet and a free bar! It was a great night!

The movie was hilarious! Kevin Hart is brilliant in it, he played his role very well. It was one of the funniest movies I've seen in ages! It's definitely worth a watch! It's in cinemas in Ireland on Friday.

My fancy ticket! :-)

What I Wore:

Shirt | Bershka | Jeans | Bershka | Scarf | H&M | Necklace | Mi Moneda | Runners | Bershka

I hope you're all having a lovely week so far! Only two more days until the weekend!
Will you be going to see this film?

Boots Haul

Yesterday I walked by Boots and there was a 3 for 2 offer on! Seriously, who can resist the Boots 3 for 2 offers? Not me anyway! I have no will power ;-) I'm really excited about my little purchases so, I thought I'd share them with you.

1.  Real Techniques Blush Brush

I was really excited to try the Real Techniques brushes as so many beauty bloggers have raved about them. I'm starting off with the blush brush. I've never worn blush before but it was next on my list of makeup products to try. Obviously I need a brush to apply it so, after eyeing these brushes up for a long time I finally decided to try them out. It was €12.99. Have you tried these brushes before? Which one should I try next?

2.  Rimmel 'I love lasting finish' nail polish

Next I went to the Rimmel counter and purchased this nail polish in the shade '200 Orange Your Life'. I absolutely love  Rimmel's range of nail polishes! They're my favourites! They wear well and they're very affordable. I think this one is a gorgeous colour for Spring. It costs €4.55.

3. Seventeen sculpting brow pencil

Whenever I go over to the Seventeen counter, I always end up buying loads of stuff! This is by far my favourite makeup brand. They're products are great, they don't irritate my skin or cause me to break out and they're affordable. I bought this product because I normally fill in my brows using a brow kit and I wanted to try something a bit different. It was only €3.69 so why not? ;-)

4. Seventeen BB balm

Another Seventeen product! (Surprise Surprise!) I'm not really a fan of foundation, I much prefer BB creams. It claims to improve skin in four weeks. My skin has been feeling quite rotten lately so, I hope this gives me good coverage whilst improving my skin at the same time. I got it in the shade light and it was €8.89.

5. Seventeen Blush & Glow

Last but not least, I got this blush in the shade 'In Bloom'. It costs €5.09. Like I said before, I've never used a blush before but I just want to be adventurous and try something new. I'm excited to try this product out!

Have you used any of these products before? If you have, let me know what you thought?

Thanks for reading!

Friday Fashion Fix: A Week In My Style

Hi everyone!

For today's post I thought I would share my outfits of the week with you.
Here is what I wore:

Monday:

Monday was a grey and rainy day so, this beautiful blue jumper from Penneys brightened up my day. I love these shorts from H&M! They're great to wear on casual days but you can also dress them up too. Converse are ideal to wear for casual days from school to fashionably lazing around. I love these converse because they have a little bit more detail than the usual style of converse.

Tuesday:

On Tuesday I decided to wear something a little bit smarter. So, I went for this shirt with leopards on it from Topshop and I threw on a cosy knit jumper from New Look over it. I love to wear jumpers/tops over shirts with a collar sticking out. It's an easy way to add a nice bit of detail to a plain top. My ankle boots are from Penneys (Primark). They're really comfortable and I love the studded detail on the heel. The statement necklace is from New Look. I love the colour of it, I think it's perfect for the spring.

Wednesday:

Wednesday's outfit was really simple! I wore this cute polka dot shirt with my light pink jeans and my white high top converse. I bought the shirt in Bershka and the jeans in Zara. I accessorised the outfit with this cute feather chain from Penneys. I had to wear this black knit headband because my ears were freezing!! ;-)

Thursday:
Thursday's outfit is my favourite to wear if I'm just staying in and not doing much. It's very comfortable but it's still stylish to wear out. These shoes are my absolute favourites! I practically lived in them last Summer. I can't wait to start wearing them more! They're from Zara.

Friday:
And last but not least is Friday's outfit! It's normally my favourite day of the week but not today because it means that mid-term break ends in two days. Boo! :-(  Anyway, today I wore this pretty black and white floral dress from Penneys over a cosy knit which was also from Penneys. I also wore my favourite hat from A-wear. It's just a plain white beanie with a bobble on top (Bobble! That's a funny word!) but it's super cosy! I also wore my grey high top converse with fur on the inside (Yes, that's right! Fur!) They're probably the best thing that I've ever purchased! It's like walking on clouds!!

So, that's all of the outfits that I wore this week! I hope you enjoyed this post!

OOTD! - Casual Saturday

Today I didn't do that much. I'm re-doing my room at the moment, so, I spent most of the day sorting through drawers and clearing out stuff (exciting, I know!!) ;-). However, I did go out to my sister's house (I'm staying the night) so, I wanted to wear something nicer than my tracksuit! :-)

Here is what I wore:

Pink Jumper - Penneys (Primark)
Jeans - A-wear
Runners - Penneys
Necklace - Penneys
Bracelets - Alex and Ani

I love wearing outfits like this on a daily basis. It's comfy and casual! It's really easy to throw on especially when I'm in a rush on schooldays. This jumper is so cosy and the runners are so comfortable. I love them!

I hope you had a lovely Saturday!

Flashback Friday: Puppy Love

Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

Flashback Friday is back again! I hadn't planned on making this a series on my blog but I really enjoyed writing the first one and so I thought why not? You can read the last one Here.

I was looking through old photos today and I stumbled across this one of my dog, Piper Rae, when she was only 8 weeks old! She looks so tiny in this picture! She's almost two years old now and it's hard to believe she was ever that small.

I remember the day we brought her home so well. It was so exciting! There were 13 dogs at the breeder's house and it took us over an hour to decide which one to take home. They were all so cute and they smelled of baby powder! In the end, Piper gave my Mam her paw and we knew that we had to take her home. It was love at first sight! :-)

She was such a mischievous little puppy! She used to take our socks out of the laundry basket and run off with them. She LOVED socks! She used to chew everything and she'd destroy our shoes! The whole summer was just chaotic, running around after her ;-)

She's still quite naughty to this day but I think it would be very boring if she behaved herself ;-)

Today Piper is my valentine ;-)

That's it for now, Ill talk to you soon! Lots of love to you all!

Sanctuary Spa Obsession!

Lately I've been loving the brand Sanctuary Spa Covent Garden. It's actually become quite an obsession. ;-)
I have really sensitive skin, so, it gets dry and irritated easily. I often find it hard to get products that work well for my skin without irritating it. In December I tried Sanctuary Spa products for the first time and I was delighted that they didn't irritate my skin.

Here is my little collection of their products and my opinions on them :-)

First up is, the fresh-faced purifying wash and the radiance exfoliator. I talked about this cleanser in my January Favourites blogpost. I've tried so many cleansers before and none of them were as nice as this one. I love the radiance exfoliator because it gently exfoliates my skin and leaves it looking more radiant. What I found with other facial scrubs was that they would dry-out my skin but this one doesn't do that at all. It smells amazing too! I think it's important for products to smell nice especially facial products, because who wants to put products that smell gross on their face? Not me! ;-) I've made the mistake of buying products that smell horrible too many times!

Next is the moisture rich foot butter and the pumice foot scrub. My feet used to get really dry before I started using this moisturiser. It's quick-absorbing, which I love and it leaves my feet feeling really soft. This scrub is very cooling and refreshing, I think it will be lovely in the summertime. ( If the weather in Ireland decided to be hot for once!) ;-)  It definitely  leaves my skin feeling much smoother. It has tea tree and lavender in it, so it smells really good!

And last but not least are my two favourites, the body wash and body lotion. I love this body wash, it has a gorgeous scent that fills the whole bathroom. It also has beads in it, which made me think at first that it was going to be harsh on my skin but it was actually the exact opposite, the beads are moisturising. Which makes my skin feel silky and soft. The body lotion hydrates my skin really well and I don't find it greasy at all. It smells of ginger and I think it's a really relaxing scent. I use it at night time because it always makes me sleepy ;-) It's perfect if your having a relaxing pamper evening.

Let me know in the comments if you've tried any of these products before and what you thought of them. I'd love to hear from you!
