Easter Sunday Fun

Happy Easter everyone!

Sorry for being a bit MIA on here lately. I didn't really get a chance to blog much last week! Even though it was only a few days ago since my last post, I feel like I haven't blogged in months! I have lots planned for this week though, so look out for lots of blog posts! I'm excited for that... I hope you are too ;-)

Recently I've been trying to get into photography more..... I've been learning more about my camera, lighting and picking up some new tips and tricks. If you follow me on Instagram you may have noticed an increase in the amount of photos I've been posting (sorry about that ;-) Ha ha).  I got a bit snap happy today seen as in it was Easter Sunday! So, I thought I'd share some of the photos with you because I was quite pleased with how they turned and there are some CUTE ones of my niece!

My sister and brother-in-law came over and we had a small family dinner. My Mam bought about a dozen different desserts (she always goes a bit overboard with the amount of food ;-) Ha ha!) so we weren't short for choice, thats for sure!! I'm actually in a food coma as I'm writing this! Ha ha!

We also watched Frozen which I was really excited about because I've never seen it before! I'm a huge Disney fan and to be honest it's quite shocking that I hadn't seen it before today! Tut tut ;-) Oh my goodness!...... It was so good!! Even Elsie was captivated by it! She probably loved all of the colours and the music. It's a child's dream!

It was Elsie's first Easter so, it was a really special day. She got lots of clothes because she's too small to eat chocolate ;-) Although when her Granny gave her a small Lindt chocolate bunny to hold she was eyeing it up (you've to wait a few more years Elsie!) ;-).

Here's what the Easter bunny brought me ;-)

And how cute are these napkins from Tesco? I just love them!

I also baked some Easter cupcakes! Because it's not Easter without a few cupcakes! Ha ha! Here's the (recipe)  that I used if you're interested. There just simple vanilla cupcakes and to decorate them I used some vanilla buttercream icing and I placed some malteaser bunnies, mini eggs and 2 fluffy chickens on the tops of them. I'm so pleased with how they turned out! I had no idea how they were going to turn out but I was really impressed with them. I think the bunnies and the chickens are SO cute! They're very festive looking!

I hope you all had a lovely Easter Sunday! And I hope you ate lots of chocolate! ;-)

Goodnight!

Love,
Cliona x

  1. Such a good idea to put the mini Malteaser Bunnies on top of your cupcakes! Wish I had seen this before I baked my Easter cakes ;)
