Wise Words Wednesday: Positive Thinking

I came across this quote on Pinterest recently and it really made me think. Something I've noticed  recently is,  that there is a lot of negativity in the world these days. We all complain and think negatively (at the end of that day we ARE only human!) all the time but I really feel that in order to be truly happy we need to complain less and start picking out the positives in our life instead of the negatives. And like this quote says, unfortunately there's always someone who has it worse.

One of the goals that I set at the start of the year was to start being more grateful and appreciate the little things more. A while ago I even started the 100 days of happiness challenge on Instagram and I noticed that halfway through the challenge I felt a lot happier, positive and I started to appreciate the little things more. I'd highly recommend you to do this challenge as it was really fun and it had a very positive impact on my life.

Since completing the 100 days of happiness, every night before I go to sleep, I write down 3-5 things that made me happy that day or even just people/things that I'm grateful for in general. Whenever I'm feeling a bit down or I'm finding it hard to be positive, I always take out my notebook and have a read of the things that I'm grateful for and this always makes me feel instantly happy!

Since doing all of these things, I've never felt happier and been more positive in my life!
