A Pop Of Red

Friday, 17 April 2015

I'm a big fan of the all white/cream look but recently I've been adding a pop of red to this classic look to make a statement..........

The 'all cream look' is a staple for me during the warmer months but lately I've been quite bored with it. I found this bright red scarf that was hiding down the back of my wardrobe and thought it'd be perfect to add a splash of colour to the outfit. Personally, I don't think one can ever own too many scarves. I wear them every single day and it probably looks like I have a weird scarf fixation, haha! They're great! - They can undoubtedly transform a plain outfit to make it look like you've put a lot more thought and effort into your outfit (sneaky tricks right there *wink wink*).

The first week back at school after the holidays are always the hardest....but thank crunchy it's Friday!   Last Thursday was such a beautiful day so we headed out to Avoca for a Spring evening stroll. Evening strolls are easily my favourite thing about the Spring. Still bright after 7pm, the last golden rays of the day glistening, kids playing and birds still chirping away to themselves. And maybe throw in a quick a hot chocolate pitstop too ;-) My plans for the weekend consist of lots of evening strolls just like this one - Pure bliss!

What I wore:

Jumper: H&M ~ Jeans: Zara ~ Scarf: A-wear ~ Shoes: Asos

Do you have any statement scarves in your wardrobe?

  1. Love the pop of red! I wouldn't call any of the scarves in my wardrobe "statement scarves" (most of them are either pastels or dull colors), but then again, I don't have all that many scarves haha

  2. i definitely love the pop of color, makes the outfit more uneeke and cute.

    Simply Uneeke

  3. I love the pop of colour with this neutral outfit! I also believe you can never have too many scarves as they can definitely transform any plain outfit. :)
