Windy Days

You know it's summer in Ireland when
you have to wear a wooly hat because
it's horrendously windy.......

........

It may be June but chilly days with blustering winds are a regular occurrence here in Ireland lately. You can't step out the door without your hair blowing in your face and your umbrella flying across the street these days. The day I shot these photos was one of the windiest and coldest days of the year. I felt like wearing my favourite cropped jumper but I decided to throw on a shirt underneath it to keep me cosy. Both are from Zara and I love the contrast of the two patterns together. I also wore my high top runners from Bershka which despite how they look aren't the most comfortable shoe around (cue the cutting into my heels, leaving a nice blister {insert crying emoji}).

I'm writing from my sick bed today :-( I have an earache and it was probably due to that blooming wind! Ha! But on the bright side it's given me lots of time to blog, watch Netflix (it's not like I don't do that everyday or anything..... Shh don't tell anyone!) and read my book - I'm currently reading 'All The Bright Places' by Jennifer Niven and oh my it is good! I'll most definitely be reviewing it once I've finished in my weekend reading series. Even though I'm not feeling well, it was nice to just spend the day relaxing and unwinding as this past week was a hectic one.

What I wore:

Jumper: Zara ~ Shirt: Zara ~ Jeans: Vero Moda ~ Hat: Penneys ~ Shoes: Bershka

How've you spent your weekend?
And what do you usually wear on windy days?

Love,

  3. I can't stop looking at these photos. You're so beautiful!
I feel so sorry that the weather in Ireland is quite shitty. At the same time, I wouldn't mind to have a weekend there as it's boiling hot in my country right now. Not just hot that you can wear shorts, crop top and be happy. Nope. It makes you lie down on the sofa with a cold drink and spend the entire day lying there without making any moves.
