Sunday's Were Made For......

Lounging around and doing absolutely nothing.....

Sunday reading

.......

Sunday is by far my favourite day of the week. It's the one day I'm able to fully relax, I like to switch off and just take the time to myself. No blog, no social media until 7 o'clock for the Twitter chats of course ;-) Towards the end of day I also like to prepare for the week ahead. I find planning and making lists very therapeutic so I usually get out all of my stationary, spreadsheets and to-do lists and jot down some weekly goals and plans. This sets me up for a positive week ahead and as they say "a Sunday well spent brings a week of content".

10 things to do on a Sunday:

1. Pancakes for breakfast

2. Wear pyjamas all day

3. Turn off social media

4. Curl up on the couch with a good book

5. Watch a Netflix show.... or ten *wink wink*

6. Maybe go for a stroll
{depending on whether I feel like getting dress ;-)}

7. Have a long relaxing bath with some scented candles

8. Make hot chocolate

9. Write a to-do list for the week ahead

10. Change the bed-sheets
{nothing beats fresh sheets!}

How will you be spending your Sunday?

Love,
Cliona xx

  1. I do pretty much the same things you do, but I'll have to change Netflix for radio. Couch, book and radio...perfect plan =)

  2. Sundays are definitely the best day of the week, I just find that Saturday I get a lot of my to-do list out of the way so that I can completely switch off, like you said, on Sunday. I like to compile lists of goals too, having the following week planned out puts me at ease. Lovely post, really enjoyed reading it!

  4. For some reason, reading the list of things you do on a Sunday relaxes me haha! My Sundays are never nearly as relaxing as yours sound. Mine are usually spent running around trying to get thing done in time for next week and stressing about all the things I have left to do. One of the things I'm still working on learning is time management...
