The Blair Waldorf Headband

In today's outfit post I'm embracing
one of my favourite tv characters, Blair
Waldorf by sporting her signature look-
a statement headband.........

I feel like I'm auditioning to be a part of Blair's crew with this headband on but none-the-less I felt quite sophisticated wearing it. I can see why Blair loved them so much.... I thought I would feel the opposite, honestly I was worried that it would look a bit childish but I thought it worked well with this outfit. I bought it a couple of years ago for a wedding I was attending. I think these type of statement headpieces are prefect for occasion wear and they spice up a hairstyle for a glam look. To stick with the Blair theme I decided to wear these shorts as they have quite a sophisticated/formal feel to them but yet they're still fun and girly. That sums up Blair's style perfectly - she dresses formally but she still has a bit of fun with her outfits. I love these Vero Moda shorts as they feel comfortable, they're a light material and the structure of them add a more chic and grown up vibe compared to the likes of these casual summery shorts. To add the formal/dressy feel I paired my cream shirt from Zara with the outfit.

What do you think of headbands? Would you wear them?
And who's your favourite tv style icon?

  1. Love the headband ! Your outfits are always so pretty :D

  2. I always buy headbands because I think they're pretty, but then I never end up wearing them! I really should try to incorporate them into my outfits more though because it's kind of a waste to have them sitting around when I spent good money on them. My favorite TV style icon is probably Spencer Hastings. I love the preppy chic vintage thing she's got going on.

    1. I love her style too! I love all the PLL girl's style to be honest! x
