Autumn Shades

It's the season of burnt orange, mustard
and burgundy hues. And today I'm
chatting about all things burnt orange.......

Once Autumn sets in the orange, yellow and burgundy hues start to pop up everywhere. A shade that never goes out of style for the Autumn months is burnt orange, but it's particularly huge this year along with rust. This is a colour that I have fallen head over heels in love with and you'll be sick of seeing this colour pop up on my blog ;-) I've never actually owned any burnt orange clothes before but when I saw this amazing skirt in H&M I just couldn't resist taking it home with me - especially when it was reduced from €40 down to €15! The quality is insane; it has a very thick, heavy material and it feels incredibly soft too. I also love that it's a bit different from the usual skater skirt because it's more flared out and it's got a couple of creases running through it - which I love because it adds texture to the skirt.

I decided to pair it with a classic white button up shirt as you just can't go wrong with them! They're so versatile as they can be worn with everything and they add a little bit of sophistication to an outfit. I also threw on my leopard print scarf as it has little hints of orange which I thought complimented the skirt nicely. For shoes, I went for an Autumn staple: Chelsea boots. Every year I always treat myself to a new pair of boots and since I haven't owned a pair of Chelsea boots in a few years I thought it was time I added a pair to my shoe-drobe. But the boots weren't the only new thing I picked up recently as everything in this outfit is new except for the scarf because I may have had a "little" splurge at the start of the month *insert monkey with his hands over his mouth emoji*
