A Few Little Gift Ideas

2015 gift guide for her
Christmas gift ideas

.......

Christmas is right around the corner and with only two full weekends left to get all the shopping done, it's time to get my skates on. Last night I made a list of what I need to buy and it inspired me to put together a little universal list of a few things that would make a nice gift......

For the book/stationary lover: You really can't wrong with stationary as a Christmas gift. Everyone needs a nice notebook in their life! I'm always jotting things down from schoolwork to my blog, so a pretty notebook is essential - a nice colourful notebook with a pretty design is essential to add a bit of colour to my handbag ;-) Recently I've been loving Emma Bridgwater notebooks. They have lovely designs, they're colourful and they're quite sturdy too - I throw mine in and out of my bag at least ten times a day, and the edges aren't crinkled or frayed and there are no pages falling out.

There are lots of great books on the market at the moment and my own list is as long as my arm, but one book that was huge this year was All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven. I spoke about it in detail in a weekend reading post. It's on my list of top 5 books and I definitely think everyone should give it a read. Another popular release this year was The Girl On The Train and Harper Lee's Go Set A Watchman

Alex and ani gold bangles

For the fashion lover: It can be hard to buy people clothes as you just never know if it's going to be their taste or the right size. Accessories and jewellery are a safe option as they're dainty and you can always find something to suit everyone. Parfois watches make an amazing gift as the quality is amazing and they look just as pretty as the expensive brands, but obviously they're half the price! They come in many different shapes, sizes and colours so there's lots to choose from.

Another inexpensive jewellery item is the Alex and Ani bracelets. There are lots of different types available and you can get something personal such as birthstones, initials etc. They start off at €36 which isn't bad for a special bracelet like this.

I received my first Pandora ring for my birthday and it was such an exciting thing to open. I've never been so excited with a present and it was such a lovely surprise. This would definitely put a smile on someone's face on Christmas morning. I have the bow from the rose gold collection which is very popular this year. Everyone's going mad for rose gold this year!

For the beauty lover: There are lots of options for the beauty lovers out there and to be honest, I think they're the easiest to buy for. You can get anything from a nail polish for a couple of euros to a more luxurious item like the Charlotte Tilbury eyeshadow palette ;-)

Essie polishes a favourite amongst us beauty lovers. I have a whole post dedicated to them so if that doesn't convince you how good they are, then I don't know what will!

Lush products always go down well, and they even do gift sets that are already wrapped - all the hard work has already been done *wink wink* They also have some indulgent skincare which would be a lovely treat for the skin over the festive period.

Another great place for gifts is The Body Shop. They have lovely skincare products, sweet-smelling body butters and cute little hand creams which would make a good stocking filler.

Eyeshadow palettes are necessary for makeup lovers and you can't beat the holy grail Naked palette!

What are you hoping to receive this Christmas?

Happy Blogmas!

Love,
Cliona xx
