Birthday outfit

| A Special Birthday Outfit Post! |

You know how they say you should never work with kids or animals. Well, add balloons to that list because they are not ideal for shooting outfits with, to say the least. There were many pelts to the head from these bad boys but it was 100% worth it as it was all in the name of some fun photos!

Some of you may remember my special birthday shoot last year, and this year I decided to carry on the tradition and make it an annual feature. It'll be fun to see how different I look, how my style develops and it's nice to look back on these photos to remember how I spent the day.

It's currently 4.45pm as I'm writing this and so far I've had a lovely day. I spent the morning having pancakes for breakfast in Avoca with my Mam, my sister, and my niece. I then headed to the hairdresser where I was treated to a wash, cut, blow-dry and they then styled my hair using the Instyler. It was a nice relaxing treat and my hair feels so much lighter and healthier. After the hairdresser, I then picked up my balloons {which I bought specifically for this outfit post, haha!} and took some outfit photos. The shoot was a good laugh as the wind kept blowing the balloons into my face and cars were beeping at me {in a friendly way! ;-)}

I'm back at home with a cuppa and some fluffy socks now, and I'm spending a few hours just chilling on the couch whilst writing this post and I might watch some YT videos after. Later on, I'm heading out to dinner and the cinema to see The Girl On The Train. I was a huge fan of the book, and I even wrote about it on my English paper in my mocks and it got me almost full marks! When we get back this evening I'll be having my birthday cake and some rosé - Yum!

That's all my plans for today, but I also have some other birthday plans during the weekend but I'll save those details for another outfit post which is headed your way next week.......

I decided to keep today's outfit quite casual as I'll be wearing some dressier looks over the weekend. I bought this jacket in Penneys last week and I instantly fell in love with the tartan print and the faux fur collar. They're both two classic staple pieces for Autumn so pairing them both together makes for the perfect Autumn look! The quality of the jacket is incredible and in all honesty, it looks like something you would get in River Island. And to top it off, it was only €30! Yes, you read that right! €30!!
