V By Very For Littlewoods Ireland

V by Very scarf outfit

| Falling in Love With V By Very! |

A few weeks ago I attended the Littlewoods Ireland V By Very A/W launch and we were kindly gifted this beautiful scarf in our goodie bags. I fell in love with the gorgeous Autumnal hues on it and the soft luxurious fabric. As if the clothes on display on the night weren't enough to convince me how beautiful the V By Very range is, the scarf certainly confirmed it! I also have a gorgeous bomber from the range that was quite popular when I featured it on my Snapchat {@clionahill if you didn't already know *wink wink*}, and there'll be an outfit post with it coming to a computer screen near you very soon........

But back to this look for now: I think the scarf {shop here} looks and feels quite luxurious so I decided to pair it with a dressy outfit with a classic, luxe feel to it. I always turn to my old reliable pal, a cream silk shirt from Zara with button detailing down the front whenever I'm styling a dressy outfit. There's just something about the little details of the shirt that remind me of something Blair Waldorf would wear - And if it's good enough for BW then it's definitely good enough for me!

To keep the look classic and elegant I wore the scarf with one side draping to the front and the other side draping at the back instead of wrapping it right around in a circle like I normally would with scarves. Doing this always reminds me of the old-style movies where they would style their scarves like this and the scarf blows in the wind as they drive in their convertible - Hey, a girl can dream ;-)

Irish fashion blog

I've been dying to share the photos that I took at the Littlewoods event but I wanted to wait until I had shot this look. You know the drill with the weather in Ireland - It certainly makes fashion blogging very difficult!

The star of the show for me was definitely the red pleated dress below - It's the perfect dress for the Christmas festivities and you're sure to be the best dressed at your work Christmas party in this jaw-dropping piece. I'm tempted to buy it myself for Christmas Day but my family would probably think I've lost my marbles as our Christmases are usually quite casual, haha! It's times like this when I need to work in an office just so I can go to a Christmas party ;-)

I also love the whole ensemble that Thalia is wearing {the left side of the 2nd photo} as you just can't go wrong with an a-line skirt; They're a classic Autumn piece! And, I saved the best for last: The ruffled a-line dress paired with the pussy bow blouse has Alexa Chung written all over it! Swoon!

What is your favourite piece from the range?

Love,
Cliona xx
