Sunkissed Makeup Review

| Two Affordable Palettes I've Been Loving Recently! |

Palettes are a huge part of my makeup collection and I've tried nearly every palette under the sun at this stage, from Too Faced to Urban Decay to Hourglass to Morphe to Mac, you name it and I probably have it *wink wink* But something that's missing from my makeup collection are some good budget palettes so I was beyond delighted to receive two affordable palettes from Sunkissed cosmetics.

Sunkissed Natural Eyeshadow Palette Review

1. Sunkissed Natural Eyeshadow Palette*:

First up is this eyeshadow palette which contains 12 pigmented neutral shades with a mixture of matte and shimmer finishes. There is a wide variety of wearable shades ranging from browns, to beiges, and even a dark black shade. I think it's a great day-to-night palette as you can create a subtle daytime look like I have in the photo below but the darker shades and frosted finishes allow you to create a dramatic look for going out.

The colour payoff is remarkable especially considering this palette is only £7! The only shade that isn't really pigmented is the 4th last shade in the palette which is a sheer silver so it acts as a pop of glitter - perfect for the festive season coming up! As I said before this is a great day-to-night palette so I think it would be perfect for popping into your handbag when you go to work as you're all set with a natural daytime work look and you can add some of the darker colours and the shimmer shades for heading to your festive party straight after work.

Each shade is very easy to work with including the darker shades which can sometimes be a little trickier to blend out in some palettes. The palette also comes with an eyeshadow primer which works well for helping the shadows to last all day.

Sunkissed Bronze & Contour Palette Review

2. Sunkissed Bronze & Contour Palette*:
I was also sent their bronze and contour palette which houses a warm matte bronzer, a soft pink blush and a champagne highlight. Similarly to the eyeshadow palette, the pigmentation of each of the powders is incredible and they're just as pigmented as some of my high-end blushes, bronzers and highlighters.

The blush is the stand-out for me as it reminds me of 'surreal effect' in the new Hourglass palette - The shade is very similar and this blush is just as pigmented as it. I like to apply a very light layer of this as I don't like to wear too much blush when I wear bronzer and highlighter. The shade was very easy to use; I was able to apply a minimal amount for a subtle wash of colour but then on the days when I don't want to wear bronzer or highlighter I could build it up easily to brighten up my complexion.

The same goes for the highlighter and bronzer; I can apply a small amount and it makes my makeup look soft and natural but I can build each of them up if I'm feeling adventurous ;-) The powders are smooth, easy to blend and they have the ability to make my skin look fresh and healthy.

The palette comes in a beautifully packaged box along with a decent size powder brush so it would be a great gift for any makeup lover.

Do you like the look of these palettes?

Love,
Cliona xx
