Festive gold beauty favourites

| Festive Gold Beauty Favourites! |

With only T-minus two days to Christmas, I'm starting to feel more and more festive - Is that even possible? Haha! I'm obsessed with Christmas so I was feeling festive since the start of November but as each day passes my excitement grows bigger. Who says the magic ends when you become an adult? Because I don't believe that at all, and one thing that makes me feel oh so festive and like a kid again, is digging out my favourite beauty products with gold packaging......

First up is the YSL Touche Eclat foundation which is famous for its gold lid and lettering on the bottle. Most of YSL's beauty products are gold so it's any gold lover's dream! The foundation is one of my favourites as it feels lightweight and has a gorgeous dewy finish.

I have two eyeshadow palettes that fall under the gold packaging category as they have gold lettering and designs: Zoeva Cocoa Blend palette and Urban Decay Naked palette. The Zoeva offering contains a variety of warm shades ranging from browns to gold to cranberry and it has a few dark shades for creating some statement looks. The Naked palette is a cult product that we all know and love. It also has a wide variety of shades, most of them have a shimmer finish so they're perfect for the festive period!

Similarly to the two palettes mentioned above the packaging of the L'oreal Telescopic extra black mascara* {review} has gold lettering instead of traditional gold packaging. The product itself is an incredible budget mascara! This lengthens the lashes really well, provides good separation and the thin wand makes it easy to apply the product to the bottom lashes.

The product that has the prettiest packaging is the Sleek Solstice highlighting palette. I don't think I'll ever stop harping on about how much I love this palette! It contains 3 powder highlighters which are incredible, especially for a budget highlighter and it also contains 1 cream formula which I'm not that keen on, to be honest. But overall it's definitely worth the money for the three powder highlighters!

Another product that has Instagram-worthy packaging is the Joan Collins Timeless Beauty Lipstick & Powder Compact Duo* {review}. This handy little compact holds a setting powder and a lipstick so it's perfect for on-the-go application. The lipstick is a gorgeous brown nude shade which is the perfect everyday shade for Winter.

And lastly, it wouldn't be Christmas without a bit of winged liner and to take my wing to the next level I'll be using the Essence liquid gold liner* {review}
