| A Guide To The Ultimate Lazy Stephen's Day! |

Christmas Day is over for another year and I don't know about you, but I still feel like I'm in a food coma after last night's feast *insert winking emoji* After yesterday's indulgence {and advent chocolate throughout the month} my skin isn't feeling the greatest so a minimal makeup menu, loose comfy pyjamas and a skin pamper is on the cards for me today.

I don't usually wear makeup on lazy days but I like to on Stephen's Day otherwise I'd feel a bit groggy. Minimal makeup is the way to go, and the perfect light fuss-free base is the Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder Foundation. This lightweight dewy base provides a gorgeous luminosity to the skin making my skin look fresh and radiant. I'll also be applying a small bit of concealer under my eyes to brighten things up a little. I've been reaching for the NYX HD Concealer recently as the creamy formula feels lightweight on the skin and it provides medium coverage which is perfect for covering my minor dark circles - Although come to think of it, they're not minor today *wink wink* To finish off my complexion, I'll be adding a pop of highlight in the form of The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer.

I couldn't go a day without filling in my brows so the Hi Impact Brows palette* {review} is the perfect choice for a minimal makeup kinda day. With four different shades, there's bound to be one to suit everyone and the powder formula means that you can use it light handed for a natural look like I've opted for today, or you can also build it up for a stronger look if you're hitting the town this week.

I'm keeping the eyes simple today with Mac 'Haux' Eyeshadow all over the lid and a pop of highlight on the inner corner. I'll be finishing off the eyes with a bit of mascara and today's product of choice is Maybelline Lash Sensational* {review}. This provides great length and volume to the lashes as well as lifting them and curling them to make the eyes look more awake - Which is definitely needed after a late one last night!

The last product I'll be reaching for today is my Nars Satin Lip Pencil in 'Torres Del Paine'. This bright peachy coral shade will brighten up my makeup providing a fresh natural look which is perfect for a lazy day.

Christmas Day can be a little overwhelming as well as the busy time in the lead up to it, so I always end up feeling a little wiped out. That's why having a lazy St Stephen's Day is one of the best parts about Christmas for me. It's the only day of the year that I truly just relax and do nothing. I'm the worst for relaxing, I'm the type of person that says they're having a lazy day but I'll still get up, get dressed and do a few productive things. I just can't sit still but on Stephen's Day I allow myself to stay in my pyjamas, watch movies all day and hardly go on social media {apart from an Instagram post or two - I couldn't go a day without IG, haha!} This year I'm spending a couple of hours with my extended family but the rest of the day will be a lazy one for me!

The best way to spend a lazy day is having a long hot soak in the bath. My favourite bath product in 2016 was without a doubt the Zoella Bath Latte from the Sweet Inspirations range. It creates a tonne of bubbles and the warm almond scent that diffuses through the entire bathroom is perfect for the festive period. I'll also be reaching for the Clinique Take The Day Off cleansing balm which has been my favourite cleanser at the moment. The creamy hydrating formula is perfect to help nourish the skin, which is badly needed because I don't know about you, but I never drink enough water during the festive period *insert monkey with his hands over his eyes emoji*

Before I have a movie marathon in the evening, I'll get cosy by the tree, light The White Company Winter candle {review} and read my book for a few hours. I've just finished Glass Sword by Victoria Aveyard so I'm trying to decide between The Chemist by Stephenie Meyer or Luckiest Girl Alive by Jessica Knoll to read next.

And lastly, it wouldn't be Christmas without a few festive chocolates so I'll be digging into the boxes of Heroes and Celebrations!

What are your lazy Stephen's Day / Boxing Day essentials?

Love,
Cliona xx
