| 3 Outfit Ideas For December! |
I love Autumn fashion but when the Winter rolls in it becomes harder to dress stylishly whilst remaining warm. Over the last few weeks, I've been in a bit of a style rut wearing the same coats, jumpers and boots over and over again because I know they'll keep me warm. But I've decided that I'm going to try to wear a different outfit almost every day in December so that all of my winter clothing isn't just sitting in my wardrobe. I've been a busy bee planning my outfits for the month, so for today's post, I thought I'd share some photos of the flatlays that I've been creating to plan my outfits........
The first look consists of a skirt and tights combination because I've been wearing jeans a lot recently and I need to shake things up a little with a few dresses and skirts.
The lace-up trend was huge in 2016 and I was completely on board with it! I love mixing trendy pieces with my classic style staples as I like my style to have both a classic and modern feel. My nod to the popular trend was a blush pink lace-up a-line skirt {outfit post}.
This month I'll be digging this skirt out again and pairing it with a cosy jumper with a delicate lace detail on the sleeves. This simple touch looks elegant and classic so it compliments the contemporary skirt perfectly.
To tie in with the classic look of the jumper I'll be pairing the look with my suede block heel boots and to provide a casual vibe to the outfit I'll throw on this cosy bobble hat. I think the bobble hat is a classic winter item that everyone should own!

Red has always been a colour that I'd love to incorporate into my wardrobe but for some reason unbeknownst to me, I'm terrified to wear it. It's a classic colour that looks so well on others. I usually opt for soft colours such as blush pink, grey, beige, as well as classic hues such as black, white, and burgundy for the A/W months.
But when I spotted this tartan coatigan {full outfit post} sitting on a rail in Penneys I knew this was a good way to start incorporating the highly coveted colour into my daily outfits. The material is incredibly soft and the faux fur collar helps keep me cosy.
For a classic winter look, I'll be pairing the coatigan with my black boots that have a gold buckle on them, a pair black leather gloves and a red lipstick. It's the perfect cosy winter look if you ask me!

If you haven't dug out last year's Christmas jumper yet then stop what you're doing and go fetch it out! Mine has made its debut already and it's a head turner when I'm out in public, that's for sure! I'm not sure what people are thinking when they see me wearing this jumper; It's either "Look at that Christmas loving wally" or "Ooh I love her Christmas jumper! I must pick one up myself." The latter I hope *insert winking emoji*
I've wanted to own a Christmas jumper for years but it was only last year that I finally found one that suited my style. A lot of the jumpers on the high street are a bit gaudy looking but this one from New Look is perfect as it's quite subtle compared to other jumpers I've seen.
I love the burgundy colour of it and the shape makes it more wearable than other jumpers on the market. I'll be pairing it with a cosy cardigan as well as jeans and converse for comfort. I'm pretty sure that you'll be seeing this outfit pop up a lot throughout Snapmas over on my Snapchat {username: clionahill} as it's cosy, comfortable and festive, so what's not to love?!
