| Autumnal Berry, Mauve & Copper Hues! |
The Winter season is slowly creeping up on us, but before it arrives in full force I want to embrace the last few weeks of Autumn by sporting my favourite Autumnal makeup hues. A few months ago I shared my favourite Autumn fashion shades in a post called 50 shades of Autumn so I thought I'd do a beauty edition too. From rich berries to pretty mauves to warm coppers, here are a few of my favourite Autumnal makeup shades...
My latest beauty favourite is the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit Volume 3 Palette and the shade Surreal Halo is a beautiful berry shade that adds warmth to my cheeks and perks up my complexion. The Surreal Light setting powder is infused into it so it tones down the berry hue a little which makes it more wearable.
My most-worn copper eyeshadow is Mac Coppering, a warm-toned copper with red undertones that can be worn on the lid for a statement pop of colour, but I also like to use it in the outer corner of the eye for a change from my usual fail-safe brown hues.
For extra sparkle and glam in the lead up to Christmas, I'll be sporting one of my favourite pigments, Mac Copper Sparkle. This stunning metallic rusty copper shade {swatched here} makes my blue eyes pop and paired with warm browns it creates a quintessential Autumn eye look.
I love wearing mauve nudes during the Autumn/Winter and my top lip liner pick is Essence Satin Mauve, a neutral mauve shade perfect for everyday wear. This budget find is cheap but cheerful with its creamy formula and long-lasting properties. I usually pair the liner with another pinky mauve shade, Mac Brave.
For a statement lip pick, I've been reaching for the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Prague, a stunning berry shade with purple undertones. The shade is lighter than most vampy berry lipstick hues so it's much easier to wear on an everyday basis. Essie Big Spender is pretty much the exact same shade in nail polish form so they go perfectly together.
