| Recent Empty Products! |

If you saw my recent life lately post then you'll know that I'm bringing back lots of old-school content that I used to post on my blog and one of the post ideas I want to bring back is the 'empties series' that used to be so popular. I've been seeing a few empties posts from some of my favourite blogs and YouTubers {Pumpkin Lemonade, Lily, Rebecca and Alyssa Dahle} and they reminded me of these posts and inspired me to scroll back and read my old empties posts {123 and 4}. Recently, I've been collecting my finished products, so without further ado, let's see what products I've used up in recent weeks.

1) Clinique Take The Day Off:
I've had a tiny bit left in my Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm for a few months as I was trying to savour the last bit but I finally used the last of it up recently, and I have to admit I'm gutted. It's one of the pricier cleansers in my stash but it's definitely worth it as it's the most effective makeup remover I've used. I saw someone on Instagram from the U.S who had a mini version of the cleanser and I wish we had a mini of it here too so I could buy it in between buying the big version.

Is It Worth Repurchasing? Yes! But I probably won't repurchase it for awhile as I have my eye on a few other cleansers.

2) Zoella Snow Fresh Body Wash:
I loved Zoella's Sweet Inspiration range from a few years ago but I had never actually tried any of the other ranges until recently. I was gifted a few products from the Snowella Christmas 2017 range in my stocking and I've been loving the scent of all the products ever since. There are notes of peony, mint and pink pepper so the products have a light, fresh scent with a subtle hint of sweetness. The scent isn't too invasive so it's not sickly sweet and the shower gel didn't cause any irritation to my skin. I was quite nervous about that because last time I used a new shower gel from Lush I had an allergic reaction but this product was fine for me!

Is It Worth Repurchasing? Yes! However, I think it was limited edition but if they bring it back again then I'll definitely pick another one up.

3) The Body Shop Vanilla Pumpkin Body Butter*:
This body butter was an Autumnal/ Halloween release and it's by far the best scent I've ever tried from The Body Shop. The notes of Madagascan vanilla, pumpkin, tonka bean, hazelnut and maple syrup create a sweet and nutty quintessential Autumnal fragrance that's warm, inviting and reminiscent of freshly baked cakes. The formula is a rich, ultra-nourishing cream that sinks into the skin quickly and provides lasting hydration.

Is It Worth Repurchasing? Definitely! But this was also limited edition so I'm not sure if they're going to bring it back :-(

4) Garnier Ultimate Blends Shampoo The Sleek Restorer:
This little gem from Garnier is easily my favourite shampoo as it's budget-friendly, doesn't leave a build-up of residue and doesn't irritate my scalp. I also think it helps keep my hair feeling silky soft and it smells amazing too!

Is It Worth Repurchasing? Yes! This is pretty much the only shampoo I've used for years!

5) Radox Shower Gel:
I've been using this simple fuss-free shower gel for years as it's gentle on my sensitive skin. It lathers into a creamy milky texture, it doesn't strip my skin, and in fact, my skin feels quite soft when I get out of the shower before I apply any body moisturiser. It's a goodie!

Is It Worth Repurchasing? Yes! Another one I've been repurchasing for years and I'll definitely continue!

6) Mac Studio Fix Foundation:
I used to love this foundation when I was around 18 but recently my foundation preferences have changed and I haven't been loving this as much as I used to. So I made it my mission to finish it up this year and I'm quite surprised I finished it this early in the year! This is a medium-full coverage foundation and I still love medium-full coverage foundations because I often get hormonal breakouts, however, I find this foundation to be a little bit too thick for me and it doesn't feel as lightweight on the skin as some of my other foundations. I also find that it can cling a little to dry patches and that really ages my skin as well as making it look haggard - not really the look I'm going for, haha!

Is It Worth Repurchasing?  No - This foundation just isn't my cup of tea anymore and I have other foundations that I prefer.

7) Mac Prolongwear Concealer:
This concealer is a cult classic in the blogging and youtube community so I was having FOMO before I tried it! It offers medium coverage but can be built up if I want a bit more coverage. The formula is creamy and non-drying, and it provides a smooth flawless finish to the under-eyes without ever creasing. However, it's not my favourite concealer and I have a few high-end and budget options in my collection that I prefer.

Is It Worth Repurchasing? Maybe - I do still like this concealer but it's not my favourite and if I'm buying a Mac concealer then I'd probably opt for the next product I'm about to talk about...

8) Mac Prep & Prime Highlighting/Concealing Pen:
This is an amazing brightening concealer and I used to love using this under the eyes, down the centre of my nose, my forehead and my chin. It really lifts the complexion, making it appear brighter and healthier. I need to repurchase this ASAP!

Is It Worth Repurchasing? Yes!

What products have you used up recently?

Love,
Cliona xx
