| April's Beauty & Lifestyle Favourites! |

Another month is over and I had a lovely April, enjoying the fleeting warm sunny weather and discovering new beauty and lifestyle favourites.

I finally overcame my reading slump in April and I'm delighted that I've fallen back in love with my favourite hobby! I read two books this month and the first one that I finished was Still Me by Jojo Moyes which is the third instalment of the Me Before You series. The book was set in New York and follows one of my all-time favourite book characters, Louisa Clark as she works in NYC. It was a bit slow at the start and took me a while to get into it but once I did, I couldn't put it down. The story seemed to get better and better and there were quite a few surprises that I wasn't expecting!

The second book I read in April was The Secret by Rhonda Byrne. This is a positive, motivational book that encourages you to change negative thinking into positive thinking so you can attract the things you want in life and achieve your goals/dreams. It was such an interesting read and I'm a firm believer in the power of positive thinking. I want to be able to use the lessons I learned from this book in my daily life so it's one that I'll definitely be re-reading over and over again, and highlighting key points as well as taking notes from it.

P.S. You can add me on Goodreads to see what books I'm reading!

Tv Series:
I watched American Crime Story: The People Vs O.J. Simpson on Netflix last month and it was such a good show! It had a great cast including John Travolta, David Schwimmer, Sterling K. Brown and lots more, and it was really interesting to see what happened with the case as I wasn't born when it happened so I didn't really know anything about it.

Another tv series favourite this month was Suits! The second half of season 7 aired this month and it was the last season with Meghan Markle and Patrick J. Adams so I was sad to see them go *insert crying emoji*

I love quick and easy makeup routines and cream eyeshadows are the epitome of quick and easy makeup. I treated myself to a new eyeshadow stick from Rosie For Autograph and I've fallen in love with it! The dreamy bronze shadow is the perfect Summer product that complements bronzed, glowing skin.

In April, I also treated myself to the new Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define Concealer and I'm really liking it! It does crease a little bit more than some of my high-end concealers, however, it has such a good shade range and the palest shade is actually pale enough for my skin tone to use it as a brightening shade. I like my undereye concealer to be a shade lighter than my skin tone but usually, budget options end up being a little too dark or else an exact match so they don't give me that brightening effect. I also love the packaging, it has a weighty feel that you get from high-end products so I think it's definitely worth the €5, especially if you find it hard to get a good shade match from highstreet concealers.

What were your April favourites?
