Charlotte Tilbury summer makeup look

| A Charlotte Tilbury Makeup Menu For Summer! |

My Summer makeup routine follows a similar pattern every year: Minimal foundation, a glowing, radiant complexion, a bronzey cream eyeshadow and a nude lip. Recently, I've been using some new Charlotte Tilbury products to help me achieve my quick and easy, glowing, bronzed makeup look for Summer.

To prep my skin before makeup, I've been using Charlotte Tilbury's famous Magic Cream* which is a nourishing moisturiser but it sinks into the skin quickly and doesn't leave a residue on the skin so it's ideal for underneath makeup. I was so impressed with the instant results it provided including soft and plump skin thanks to the Hyaluronic Acid present. It's packed with some other skin-loving ingredients such as Rosehip and Camelia oils as well as Vitamin E which helped add radiance to my complexion. don't think I've ever used a moisturiser that makes my skin look so fresh, healthy and radiant before! It's a life-saver in the mornings!

Another pre-makeup essential I've been loving recently is the Wonder Glow Primer*. You all know I love a dewy, glowing complexion and this primer adds the dreamiest lit-from-within glow to my complexion. It has subtle golden shimmer within the product that helps perk up the complexion without making my skin look glittery or greasy. As well as adding luminosity to my complexion I also found that it slightly blurs out pores and creates a smoother base for foundation.

For my foundation, I've been reaching for my favourite light Summer foundation, Light Wonder. This offers a light coverage and I usually build it up around my cheeks and chin where I have some acne and scarring but I sheer it out on the areas where my skin is completely clear like my nose and forehead. I have very fair skin with lots of freckles and I like that I can still see my freckles through the foundation. It provides the most beautiful dewy finish to the skin and paired with the Magic Cream and Wonder Glow primer, my skin looks radiant, fresh and healthy.

To achieve a golden sun-kissed Summer complexion, I've been reaching for the Filmstar Bronze & Glow Palette*. The bronzing powder provides a slight bit of definition as well as adding some warmth to the skin and it is the most effortless bronzer to blend out, it blends seamlessly and quickly. You can apply it minimally for a subtle look or build it up if you want - it's the type of powder that you can build up without it looking muddy. The highlighter is a stunning light gold shade that adds the most beautiful glow to my complexion.

For a pop of colour on the cheeks, I used the Cheek To Chic Blush in Sex On Fire which is a deep mauvey pink shade. I usually associate the shade with Autumn/Winter but I've recently introduced it back into my makeup bag as the lighter pink shade on the outer rim looks beautiful paired with this Summer makeup look. It adds a subtle flush of colour and allows the bronzer and highlighter to stand out a bit more.

The star of this makeup look is definitely the Eyes To Mesmerise Cream Shadow in Star Gold* which is one of their new shades. These are my favourite cream eyeshadow formula that I've ever tried as the consistency is soft, creamy and it feels like a whipped mousse texture. Often I find that cream shadows can have a stiff, hard consistency which makes them a little harder to work with but the CT ones blend so quickly and effortlessly, making them ideal for quick morning makeup routines. The most striking thing about this shade is how much it makes my blue eyes pop - the colour of my eyes really stand out whenever I wear this so it's a must-have for blue eyes! I used this on my sister the other night when she was going out and she's hooked on it too!

I usually use Star Gold on its own but sometimes I add the Smoke shade from The Dolce Vita Palette to the outer corners of my eyes, which adds a little more depth and definition to the look.

I finished the look with the Stoned Rose lipstick* which is warm-toned terracotta nude hue. The warmth of this lipstick complements the bronze tone of the eyeshadow and the creamy, nourishing formula has a slight sheen to it which is perfect for the Summer.
