Four Charlotte Tilbury Lipsticks To Try

Lipsticks are one of my many weaknesses when it comes to makeup as I love having a variety of shades, finishes and formulas to choose from depending on the occasion. Charlotte Tilbury is one of my favourite brands for lipsticks not only for the luxurious, pretty packaging that looks beautiful perched on top of my vanity table but also for their incredible formulas and shade range. And that brings me on to today's blog post topic, four Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks you need to try!

My first CT lipstick and one that has been featured on this blog many times before is Kidman's Kiss, which is from the Hot Lips collection. Each lipstick is inspired by and named after 12 inspiring women - which is such a lovely idea! Kidman's Kiss is of course inspired by the one and only Nicole Kidman and the shade is a soft, rosy pink hue with a creamy matte formula. Charlotte Tilbury changed my whole outlook on matte lipsticks because before trying her matte formula I associated the finish with dry lips. However, the CT mattes offer a smooth creamy formula that applies easily, doesn't feel dry or accentuate any dryness on the lips.

If I want to go for something that provides a little more nourishment to the lips then I'll usually opt for one of the CT KISSING lipsticks over every other lipstick in my collection. This formula is much creamier and has a slightly glossy sheen so it makes the lips look a little juicy and plumper. My first shade from this range was the classic Bitch Perfect which is a pink nude with peachy undertones that complements most makeup looks and outfits. I usually pair it with the Pillow Talk lip liner for defined and slightly fuller looking lips.

A new favourite is their limited edition The Duchess* lipstick and this has become my favourite lipstick shade ever. I love wearing pink lipsticks and this offering is a brighter and richer pink than Kidman's Kiss. Although it's a pink shade, it's very wearable and because the pigment is a little bit more intense than Bitch Perfect, I find it lasts a little bit longer.

Another recent addition I've been testing out is the shade Stoned Rose*, a warm terracotta nude hue. If bright lipsticks aren't your thing but you want a summery lip, then Stoned Rose is the perfect shade. It's such a warm, rusty shade which reminds me of a quintessential summer shoe, tan sandals. I can picture wearing this lipstick with a white Summer dress, a pair of tan sandals and a straw hat for the perfect summer look.
