Three Summer Outfits

Three Summer Outfits

| Three Summer Outfits! |

Last week I took a few days off from blogging and Instagram as I spent the week doing fun Summery things with my Mam, my sisters and my nieces. We went to a few nice places in Dublin and we also spent a night in the Killashee House Hotel in Naas where we treated ourselves to a little trip to their hydrotherapy pool - it was bliss! During the week, I took the opportunity to take a few photos of some of my favourite Summer outfits to share with you in today's post.

Look 1:
The first look was shot in the National Botanic Gardens which is one of my favourite places in Dublin and it's such a beautiful place to take photos. I'm not a big fan of cami/vest tops as I feel a little bare in them but I'm hoping someday I'll have the confidence to wear them because they look so pretty!

But until then I'll be living in t-shirts and for this outfit, I opted for one of my favourite Summer t-shirts, which was a Zara purchase last year. The pale pink hue complements an abundance of my daily outfits and one of my favourite pieces to pair it with is this Zara skirt. It's a few years old but the classic structure of the skirt, as well as the lace detailing, makes it withstand the test of time, and it's also the perfect colour for Summer.

I've done an edit of some of my favourite pink tees and blue skirts on the high street at the moment down below if you fancy having a browse *wink wink*

How to style pink trousers for Summer

Look 2:
I wore this second look at the Killashee House Hotel because it was the perfect outfit for the car drive down and for exploring the grounds of the hotel. Button-down clothes are huuuge this season and I've been wanting to add the trend to my wardrobe. Although it's a trend at the moment and it probably won't be as popular someday, I feel like I can still get away with this New Look Short Sleeve Button-Down Blouse for years to come as it's just a classic white blouse. Another classic Summer staple in my wardrobe are these pink trousers from Penneys (similar pair here and here). They feel lightweight, making them ideal for warm days when I don't feel like wearing a skirt or dress, and they're also comfortable to wear - it's like wearing pyjamas!

Look 3:
I haven't owned a denim skirt in quite awhile but I picked one up in a recent Penneys haul and it's already become a Summer wardrobe essential. It's so easy to style, it goes with most of my tops and it doesn't blow up in the wind - I love Summery dresses and skirts but on windy days they're the worst....haha! To keep the outfit casual I just paired it with my red and white striped t-shirt from Zara as well as my favourite pair of Espadrilles which are also an old Zara purchase, a brown belt and a grey fedora hat.
