| June Beauty & Lifestyle Favourites! |
June has been a lovely month filled with sunshine and sizzling temperatures! These recent lazy, hazy, crazy days of Summer required some heat-proof beauty essentials, some Summer reading material and some new Summery clothing items from the bargainous sales that kicked off during the month. Keep on reading to find out what beauty and lifestyle things I loved in June!
Beauty:
A lightweight yet nourishing moisturiser is a skincare essential for me and recently I've been reaching for the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream* a lot. It nourishes the skin, prepping it for makeup application and as well as that, it adds a subtle, natural luminosity to the skin which helps me create my dewy, glowy Summer makeup look.
I rotate between the same few SPF products throughout the year but my favourite one for the Summer is the La Roche Posay Anthelios Fluid SPF 50+ due to the lightweight formula and the dewy finish it gives to the skin.

I've been embracing minimal makeup recently and the Glossier Cloud Paint in Dusk has become a minimal makeup favourite this month. The brown-toned nude shade means it's versatile to use as a bronzer and blush on my fair skin tone, which is perfect for my minimal Summer makeup routine!
Another Glossier favourite has been the Birthday Balm Dot Com. I wouldn't describe it as a hydrating lip balm because it takes away the dry feeling instantly and feels nice on the lips but after a while, you end up needing to apply more as the lips start to feel dry again. It's a really nice product to use on no makeup days or days when you don't feel like wearing lipstick as it has subtle shimmer in it which looks so pretty on the lips! The flavour is the best part though as it tastes like birthday cake and it makes me want to whip up a sweet treat!
My last beauty favourite of the month was the Eylure Fleur De Force Brow Define* and it's become one of my favourite brow products that I've ever tried! I'm able to create my perfect natural brow with it, and it's quick and easy to use so it's been the perfect addition to my everyday makeup bag!
Lifestyle:
I love having a series on the go to unwind in the evenings and this month I've been loving Teen Wolf. It's not my favourite series I've ever watched but it's still an enjoyable show! The storylines are exciting and fast-paced, and Dylan O'Brien is one of my favourite actors!
I also love reading in the evenings to unwind and I managed to finish three books last month! My top two picks are The Cruel Prince by Holly Black and Letters To The Lost by Brigid Kemmerer.
Zara's sale is the only sale I ever get excited about because they reduce most of their stock, unlike other stores that only reduce a handful of items. I was so excited to pick up some bargains and I ended up getting a pair of jeans down from €30 to €20, I also got two white blouses (one plain white and one with red tassels on it), I also got a cami top, as well as a rust coloured midi skirt. I'm so happy with my bargain finds!
