Recent Empty Products

| Recent Empty Products! |

It's time for another empties post and I might've let my empties build up for a bit too long since my last post so grab a cuppa because we have lots of products to chat about today!

Skincare:
Cleanser is one of those products I fly through and have to repurchase often. I've finished two cleansers recently and the first one was the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish in the limited edition sweet orange & mint scent. I'm a big fan of the original version of this cleanser but I didn't like this one at all. The product was too heavily fragranced for my skin and it made my skin feel a little sensitive after using it.
Is It Worth Repurchasing?  No - I'm going to stick to the original version from now on!

The second cleanser I finished was the Dr Roebuck's Nourishing Creme Cleanser* and I'm so sad that I've run out because it became one of my favourite cleansers I've ever used! Milk cleansers are one of my favourite types of cleansers to use as they're gentle on my sensitive skin and they're nice for a soothing second cleanse in the evenings as well as the morning.
Is It Worth Repurchasing?  Yes! However, I think they've re-branded all of their products so I'm not sure if the products have been reformulated too.

I finished up one of my favourite serums, La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo+ and this is a product that has been in my routine since I was 17. The serum calms down inflamed spots by reducing redness and helping the spots heal due to the medley of Salicylic Acid, Niacinamide and Zinc. I'm currently suffering from the worst acne I've ever had and although I like to use other active ingredients that are a little bit more effective such as Glycolic Acid, I do find this product great to have in my routine because it's gentle and soothing.
Is It Worth Repurchasing? Yep! I've already opened up a new tube of it!

A hydrating serum is an essential in my skincare routine to prevent dehydration and recently, I've been using the Dr Roebuck's Ultimate Hydrating Serum*. This product not only adds hydration to the skin but it also makes my complexion look glowy, plump and healthy!
Is It Worth Repurchasing? Yes!

I've finished my La Roche Posay Toleriane Ultra Fluid Moisturiser and this is one of my favourite lightweight moisturisers to use before applying makeup as foundation sits nicely on top of it. It's just a simple fuss-free product that moisturises the skin without making it greasy or clogging pores.
Is It Worth Repurchasing? Yes!

Makeup:
I don't go through makeup products as quickly as I use up haircare, skincare and bodycare products but I do have one item that I'm finished with, the Benefit They're Real Mascara. I liked the length and volume I got with this mascara but I didn't like the wand and I think it's way too overpriced for what it is. I'd only be happy to pay for an expensive mascara if I got exceptional results but with this, I just didn't unfortunately.
Is It Worth Repurchasing? Probably not!

Haircare:
I've used up another one of my old favourite shampoos, Garnier Ultimate Blends The Sleek Restorer Shampoo. I've been using this shampoo for years and I loved it, however, since switching to the Umberto Giannini Beach Wash Coconut Oil Shampoo {Review} I actually prefer it. The UG shampoo makes my hair look less frizzy and it feels softer, more nourished and looks healthier so I'm not sure if I'll repurchase the Garnier one again.
Is It Worth Repurchasing? Maybe.

I also used up my Herbal Essences Golden Raspberry & Mint Conditioner and I loved the scent of this so much! It has a delicious sweet raspberry scent with a touch of fresh mint and it's the perfect Summer scent. The product itself was also really good as it nourished my hair, making it feel soft.
Is It Worth Repurchasing? Yes!

I don't use hair masks that often so it took me awhile to finish the Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Hair Mask. This might be discontinued now because I can't seem to find it anywhere online but honestly, I can't say I'm sad about it, haha! This did a good job at nourishing my hair and my hair always felt soft after using it but for some reason, I just never reached for it that often.
Is It Worth Repurchasing? Not for me.

Bodycare:
For body moisturiser, I've been using Dr Roebuck's Pure Body Ultra Hydrating Moisturiser* which is a thick, ultra-nourishing body cream. I've had this on rotation alongside a lighter moisturiser for a few months and it was a life-saver during the cold, snowy weather. It has a really thick formula so it takes a while to rub it in but it's so worth it because it leaves the skin feeling so nourished and prevents dry, flaky patches.
Is It Worth Repurchasing? Yes!

I've used up another Radox Shower Gel and I think this might be my 200th bottle of it at this stage. It's a simple, fuss-free shower gel that's been in my routine for years and it has a warm, inviting fragrance of shea butter.
Is It Worth Repurchasing? Definitely!

Another nourishing product, this time for the feet, is the Soap & Glory Heel Genius. I really enjoyed this foot cream as it provided nourishment to my feet and provided a soothing, cooling sensation as well. It's a nice product, however, it's not something I'm bothered about having in my routine as a regular body moisturiser does the job too. I think this is a nice product to get in a gift set but it's probably not something I would buy myself, to be honest.
Is It Worth Repurchasing? No.

Nails:
I've had Essie Lilacism in my nail polish collection for a few years now but there's only a little bit of product left and it's gone gloopy and unusable so it's finally time to throw it away. It's a gorgeous lilac colour and you all know I love the Essie nail polish formula so I'll definitely be picking up another bottle in the future.
Is It Worth Repurchasing? Of course!

Lips:
And lastly, I used up my Nivea Original Care Lip Balm and this is one of my favourite lip balms to use! It's cheap but cheerful and does the job of hydrating my lips.
Is It Worth Repurchasing? Definitely!

What products have you finished up recently?

Love,
Cliona xx
