| What's New In My Makeup Bag! |
During the Summer, I found myself stuck in a rut with my beauty routine so I decided to refresh my everyday makeup look and add a little magic back into my makeup bag with a few new treats. If you like a flawless, glowing complexion and low maintenance lip products then stay tuned for today's beauty roundup!
1) A Dewy Base Essential:
Charlotte Tilbury makes the dreamiest products for creating a dewy, ethereal complexion that will make you feel like a million euro from the Hollywood Beauty Light Wand to the Filmstar Bronze & Glow palette.
But recently I've been reaching for a new CT product to make my dewy makeup dreams come true, the Hollywood Flawless Filter. I love multi-use products and Flawless Filter can be used in a number of different ways: 1) All over the face as an illuminating primer 2) Mixed in with foundation for a radiant base 3) On the cheekbones where you'd normally apply highlighter either under or over foundation.
My favourite way to use it is as a glowy primer and not only does it provide the skin with a lovely glow, it also adds a soft-focus finish to the complexion, blurring out pores and smoothing the skin for easy and flawless foundation application. I also love using it on my cheekbones instead of highlighter if I'm doing minimal makeup as it adds a subtle, natural glow to the cheeks. It's like a bottle of fairy dust for humans with its magical, radiant and flawless skin properties!
2) An Old Foundation Favourite:

2) An Old Foundation Favourite:
I repurchased one of my favourite foundations that I haven't used in a while, Nars Sheer Glow. This foundation is everything I look for in a foundation with the medium coverage, the satin finish, and the lightweight formula that doesn't look or feel cakey on the skin.
3) A Dark Circle Eliminator:
Nars is one of my favourite brands for buying foundations and concealers but I was always apprehensive about trying their Soft Matte Complete Concealer as I didn't think the matte formula would be suitable for my dry skin. However, I was pleasantly surprised by it and it's become my most-used concealer in recent weeks! This is a bold claim but I think I even prefer it over my trusty Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer *insert shocked emoji* The formula is soft and creamy, it blended nicely and I didn't find it drying under the eyes or on spots. It's full coverage so I only need to use a tiny amount and I think the pot is more cost effective than the radiant creamy concealer as I need to use less of it.

4) A Must-Have Tool:
One of the best places for buying beauty tools and eyebrow/ eyelash products is FalseEyelashes.co.uk and recently, they kindly sent over the Original Beauty Blender*. This is one of my favourite tools to apply foundation as it doesn't lift dry patches and accentuate them like brushes often can. The finish of my foundation always looks better when using the Beauty Blender too, my base looks fresh, natural and it helps make foundations that are prone to being a bit cakey look more flawless. It also applies foundation much quicker than a brush so it's a life-saver for when I'm in a rush!

5) A Low Maintenance Lip:
This year I've been loving low-maintenance lipstick options like glosses, balms and sheer lipsticks so I was really excited when Nars launched their Afterglow Lip Balm in Orgasm. This tinted lip balm provides a subtle hint of pink to the lips whilst keeping them hydrated, plump and glossy. And how dreamy is the pink packaging?! Swoon!

6) A Bright, Vivid Lipstick Hue:
You all know how much I love the Hourglass Girl Lip Stylo in Seeker and a few weeks ago I decided to add another shade to my collection. I opted for the shade Explorer which is a sprightly coral hue that was perfect for the Summer months but I can also transition the shade into Autumn for a little pop of colour. The formula of these lip pencils is a dream because the hydrating, creamy texture is nourishing and prevents my lips from feeling dry throughout the day. They're going to be a handbag staple for me during the colder months!
