| Four Lipsticks For Autumn! |

The world looks so beautiful at Autumn time with swirling vines of coloured foliage and there's something calm and peaceful about watching the annual dance of the falling leaves. As we get further into the Autumn season, I like to introduce some Autumnal makeup hues into my beauty routine, and for today's post, I'll be sharing four lipsticks that are perfect for this season.

Burgundies and berries are two quintessential Autumn hues but I must concede that I'm not the biggest fan of darker lipstick shades. I am a devoted nude kinda girl, however, as soon as the leaves start sprinkling down to the ground, I find myself gravitating towards rich lipstick colours to embrace my favourite season. NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Prague is my top pick and I'm so happy to welcome it back into my makeup bag! This vibrant berry has purple undertones, making it lighter and more wearable than vampier berry shades. The NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams are my favourite liquid lipsticks as the formula isn't as drying as a lot of other liquid lipsticks, they last well on the lips and they're affordable too!

Another great option from the berry family is the Sephora Flash Jumbo Lip Pencil in Speed-Date Cherry, a richer and vampier counterpart to NYX Prague. This is new to my collection but so far, I'm really liking it! The shade is a lot darker than what I'd normally wear but it's pushing me to step out of my comfort zone this A/W. I love lip pencils as they're always so much easier to apply than lipsticks with a regular bullet so it makes reapplying this throughout the day far easier.

From L to R: Charlotte Tilbury Stoned Rose, Hourglass Seeker, Sephora Speed-Date Cherry, NYX Prague

If berry shades aren't your thing then Charlotte Tilbury Stoned Rose*, a warm terracotta nude shade, is a great nude option for Autumn. It's a very unique colour and the warm, rusty tones are versatile for both the Summer and Autumn seasons. For the Summer, it looks beautiful worn with a white floaty dress and a straw hat, and for Autumn, it will look lovely with some gold sparkly eyeshadows and a white cable knit jumper - Swoon! Stoned Rose is a part of Charlotte Tilbury's K.I.S.S.I.N.G lipstick line so the formula is creamy and nourishing, making it ideal for the transition to cooler temperatures.

It's no secret that pink is my favourite colour and I always like to have a pink lipstick shade in my makeup bag. My pink lipstick favourite for Autumn is Hourglass Girl Lip Stylo in Seeker, a rosy pink hue that reminds me of Winter flushed cheeks. The formula of these lip pencils is my favourite lipstick formula ever because they feel so light on the lips like you have nothing on and they're very nourishing.

What are your favourite lipstick shades for Autumn?
