What I Wore On My 21st Birthday

| What I Wore On My 21st Birthday! |

On Sunday, I celebrated my 21st birthday and even though I ended up cancelling my plans because I wasn't feeling well enough, I still had the best day. I felt as elegant as a princess in my dress, I was completely spoiled by my family and we ate lots of cake and pizza. One of my birthday traditions, since I started my blog, is doing a birthday outfit shoot and I'm so excited to share this year's photos!

For years I've been dreaming of owning a Needle & Thread dress and I'm hoping one day there'll be a big special occasion where I can justify treating myself to one (some of them would be beautiful as an alternative wedding dress!). Until that day comes, my dreams have been fulfilled with this Zara beaded tulle dress that looks very similar to some Needle & Thread dresses. I'm in awe of the intricate beading and I love the delicate and elegant tulle skirt - I can imagine Blair Waldorf wearing a dress like this to a party!

I paired the dress with my Jonathan Aston white tights which added a ballerina vibe to the outfit. I felt ready to go on stage and perform the Sugar Plum Fairy dance with my tulle dress and white tights *insert the monkey with his hands over his mouth emoji* I was supposed to wear my pink low block heels from Zara but I was feeling too dizzy to wear shoes with a heel, so instead, I opted for a pair of pink boots from Penneys. To complement the look, I wore my new light pink handbag adorned with gold detailing, (I can only find a link to the black version) which was a birthday gift from my Mam. I've been on the hunt for a pink bag that's not too big or too small for ages and this is exactly what I was looking for! Oh, and it has major Gucci vibes - Swoon!

Love,
Cliona xx
