Christmas Gift Ideas: Fashion & Lifestyle...

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas everywhere you go. Shops and buildings are already adorned with twinkling lights and decorations, the Nutcracker and the Grinch are now showing in cinemas, and there's a flurry of people browsing the shops for the perfect gifts for loved ones.

I'm so excited to be kicking off this year's festive themed content with a good ol' gift guide to (hopefully) inspire a few gift ideas if you're stuck for some or maybe you're keeping an eye out for some treats for yourself! Today's instalment of my 2018 Christmas gifting posts is filled with pretty jewellery picks, cosy Winter essentials and some homeware bits and bobs for the avid interior decorator in your life...

Part 1: Dainty Jewellery
Jewellery is always a special gift that someone will treasure forever. My Mam kindly treated me to the Ted Baker Carabel Ballerina Necklace for my 21st birthday a few weeks ago and it comes in a variety of different tutu colours. I have the burgundy option which is lovely for this time of year, but the black and pink versions seem to be the only ones available online at the moment. We managed to find my necklace for €19 in the outlets! The shopping outlets are great for getting jewellery at a discounted price and here in Ireland, there are some great jewellery brands in Kildare Village such as Pandora, Swarovski etc.

Customisable jewellery would be a lovely gift to find under the tree this Christmas and one of my favourite jewellery brands for customisable pieces is Les Georgettes by Altesse. The brand offers a selection of bracelets, necklaces, earrings and rings with beautiful designs and interchangeable coloured bands to suit every outfit in your wardrobe.
I have the rose gold Fougerès bracelet*, the gold Girafe necklace* and the gold Fougerès ring*, which I can mix and match together and switch the leather or fluid perspex bands depending on what outfit I'm wearing. The brand kindly sent out some new bands for my bracelet and ring recently and it's amazing how much it changes the look of the pieces! I got the blue glitter and apricot band* as well as the bottle green and patent grey leather band*. I've been opting for the apricot side recently to mirror the Autumnal hues of the leaves but now that it's starting to feel Christmassy, I'm going to start using the bottle green hue as well as the deep blue glitter shade which are perfect for the upcoming festive period!
You can use the code CLIONA15 to avail of 15% off the Les Georgettes website, valid until November 30th.

Part 2: Cosy Things
My favourite type of gifts to give and receive are cosy gifts! And there's nothing cosier than a fluffy dressing gown and this one from Asos has cute little pom poms on the hood that look like bear ears - is that not the cutest thing ever?! You can't have a snuggly dressing gown without a pair of slippers and this bunny pair are so cute!

If there's someone in your life that's hard to buy for then a great option would be to get them a few cosy night-in essentials like a pair of pyjamas (I LOVE these bottoms from H&M), fluffy socks and some hot chocolate. I've linked a few of my favourite cosy essentials in this post, however, some of them are a bit expensive in my opinion, so I recommend checking out Penneys/Primark for some more affordable picks - They have the best selection! Grab a sachet of hot chocolate in the supermarket or pound shop and a budget-friendly mug in Home Sense, Sostrene Grene, Ikea or a pound shop and you'll have the perfect cosy themed gift!

Part 3: Gifts For The Home
The White Company Winter candle is one of my favourite candles and it would be a lovely gift for any candle enthusiasts in your life. I managed to get mine in the Black Friday sale reduced to €19 so it's always worth keeping an eye out for sales and bargains for things like this if it's on your Christmas shopping list. For budget-friendly candles, Home Sense has some great options as well as Penneys/Primark and Ikea!

I've been eyeing up a few bits from Anthropologie recently and I thought they would make lovely gifts for someone who loves receiving new homeware bits and bobs. Personalised gifts are always so thoughtful and these initial mugs are gorgeous! I also love the Celina tea set - imagine all the Sunday afternoon tea you could have with that!

What are you hoping to find under your tree this Christmas?

Cliona xx
