Peach & Coral Makeup Picks For The Summer...
It's safe to say that so far this Summer the weather hasn't been the best and I've been longing for our sunny scorching heatwaves of Summer '18! Despite the abundance of rainy days and grey skies, I'm determined to embrace the Summer despite the tumultuous skies. For me, Summertime screams peach and coral hues and a fresh radiant makeup look so with that in mind, I'm pulling out all of my peach and coral-toned eyeshadows, blushers and lipsticks for the next few months. Here's a little look at my stash...
Eyes:
I love a good peachy eyeshadow at this time of year and the Too Faced Sweet Peach eyeshadow palette has a lovely selection of wearable peachy-toned eyeshadow hues. When you open up the palette you're greeted with a sweet luscious scent of peaches as well as an array of various different shades including classic browns, bronzes, purples, khaki greens and of course some peachy pink offerings too. The shade Georgia is a light peachy pink matte that works well as a transition/crease colour, whilst Just Peachy and Bellini are perfect shimmery lid colours and then lastly, Candied Peach is the peachiest hue in the palette so it certainly creates a statement, colourful eye look for Summer!
Cheeks:
Probably the easiest and most subtle way to incorporate some peach or coral tones to your makeup look is blush. A good wearable option is the classic Nars Luster blush, a firm favourite in my makeup collection for several years as this subdued peachy apricot shade adds a subtle, natural flush of colour to the cheeks. It's the easiest to wear blush in my collection as I don't need to think too hard about what eyeshadow or lipstick to pair with it, it pretty much just goes with everything.
For something a little brighter for the cheeks, Benefit Galifornia blush is my go-to! This coral shade brightens up my complexion and adds a natural radiant finish. And the packaging has Summer written all over it too!
Another brighter coral option is the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Diffused Heat, a pink coral hue swirled with their Diffused Light Ambient Lighting powder to give a smooth flawless finish and luminosity to the cheeks. It's just the dreamiest blush formula!

Lips:
Hourglass girl lip stylo in Explorer is a daring bright orange-toned coral option. I'm obsessed with the formula of these lippies as they're incredibly nourishing, definitely the most hydrating lip products that aren't tinted lip balms or glosses! Usually, these bolder colours come in a matte or satin formula but this nourishing offering keeps the lips feeling hydrated throughout the day, it's easy to re-apply when you're on the go and it has a lovely glossy finish which ties in with my fresh, dewy Summer makeup look well.
For a more neutral everyday option, I reach for my Nars Satin Lip Pencil in Descanso, a gorgeous peachy nude and another favourite shade from the Satin Lip Pencil line is Torres Del Paine which is more of a pink coral shade. The formula isn't as nourishing as the Hourglass one but it still has a lightweight creamy texture that feels comfortable on the lips.

Have you any peach or coral makeup favourites for the Summer?
Love,
Cliona xx
