My Favourite Bronzers For Summer...
Who doesn't love a bronzed, glowing makeup look during the summer?! After months of looking pasty in the Winter, I crave allll the glow and come summertime I reach for my trusty bronzers and highlighters to help make me look like I've just come back from a two week holiday in Spain. Today's post is part one of my summer glow edit and today we're chatting about my top four bronzers! Stay tuned for my favourite highlighters in part two...
Becca Sunlit Bronzer has Summer written all over it with the bronze packaging and the dreamy wave embossing on the powder itself. It comes in five different shades and I have the shade, Bali Sands which is perfect for my fair skin tone, not orange or muddy looking, just the perfect balance between cool and warm-toned. The formula is finely milled, applies smoothly and has a subtle golden sheen, perfect for a glowy summer makeup look!
My Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow Duo is a year-long favourite as it's not too warm-toned or too cool either, so it's great for adding a little definition whilst also providing some sun-kissed warmth to the complexion. It's definitely the most-used bronzer in my makeup collection! It's paired with a dreamy champagne highlighter in the little palette so you can add some glow to your bronzed complexion without having to reach for another product - because after all, what's a bronzer without a little highlighter?!
The Hourglass Ambient Lighting palettes are perfect for on-the-go and Summer travelling as they come with a selection of finishing powders, blushers, highlighter and bronzer housed in a neat, slim, lightweight palette - perfect for popping into your makeup bag! Sadly the palettes usually only come out around Christmas time but the bronzer in this palette, Luminous Bronze Light, is a permanent shade and it even comes in a mini travel size too! The shade is a slightly darker offering than the previous two I mentioned but it still works perfectly for my fair skin as it applies lightly but can be built up for more intensity as well. The Hourglass powders including the bronzers are all glowy and ethereal so they make the skin look flawless and radiant - they're seriously like magic!
Last but not least is my Too Faced Sun Bunny Bronzer which has a lighter and darker shade in one so you can use either side or mix them together depending on your skin tone or the intensity of colour you want. The darker side is a bit too dark for me to use on its own so I tend to use them both swirled together and the radiant formula adds a subtle glow to my complexion - dreamy!
