Good Molecules Goodies...

There's nothing I love more than coming home and slathering my skin in oils and serums after a long day wearing makeup and for the past few months, I've been trialling some new skincare products from Good Molecules available at Beautylish. They kindly sent over a selection of goodies aimed at hydrating and brightening my temperamental combination skin!

What I love most about the brand is the products are super affordable and I've had some good results since using them so it just goes to show that products don't need to be expensive to be effective. The brand focuses on offering products designed to target skin issues from acne to dehydration to hyperpigmentation etc. so there's something to suit everyone. The products are also fragrance-free so great for sensitive skin, they don't test on animals either and they ship to Ireland and the UK with free delivery on orders over $35!

Good Molecules Hyaluronic Acid Serum*:
Hyaluronic acid is one of my favourite skincare ingredients so I was really excited to try this one! I've been using this every morning and evening for the past 6 weeks and I've noticed such a difference in the overall hydration of my skin. This time of year can be harsh on our skin with the extreme dip in temperatures going from the cold to dry heating so hyaluronic acid is a must in my skincare routine, particularly at this time of year.

This hyaluronic acid serum is definitely up there with one of the best I've tried! It has a very lightweight and cooling consistency that soothes skin from the harsh effects of Winter weather and heating, sinks in quickly, reduced dehydrated lines on my forehead and overall, my skin feels plumper and well hydrated.

Good Molecules Daily Brightening Serum*:
The second serum in my current #TopShelfie lineup is this brightening offering with a combination of beta arbutin and hyaluronic acid. Beta Arbutin is known for evening skin tone, preventing against harmful UV-rays, fading acne scars and is a much more sensitive option for brightening and evening skin tone than some other ingredients such as Glycolic Acid which makes it great for all skin types.

I've definitely noticed my skin looks a bit perkier, has reduced redness of some acne marks I have and I think overall this serum works well with helping the other active ingredients in this lineup work more effectively too. Overall, a great one for everyone's skincare routine I think!

Good Molecules Niacinamide Brightening Toner*:
When you have combination skin that is prone to getting dry and dehydrated, a heavily fragranced or alcohol-based toner that leaves the skin with that horrible tight-feeling is the last thing you want, so this nourishing and alcohol-free toner is the perfect option!

Niacinamide is another skincare active that I love to have in my routine as it works so well for my combination skin as it targets pores and blemishes but isn't harsh and doesn't cause dryness or sensitivity. Formulated with niacinamide, more naturally derived arbutin, liquorice root and vitamin C, this toner helps to target pores, uneven skin tone, promotes collagen production and soothes inflammation. The biggest difference I noticed with this is my pores which looked less visible, it also helped extract dirt from under the skin and helped soothe and heal breakouts too so they looked less red and inflamed the next morning after using this.

Good Molecules Niacinamide Serum*:
The toner works really well in conjunction with this serum too! I tend to alternate between the two in the evenings as I always notice a difference in my skin in the morning after using them. Formulated with 10% Niacinamide, this serum works to promote smooth, even skin texture whilst reducing enlarged pores and promoting brighter skin. I love the lightweight texture too as it sinks in quickly and with the toner and other serums helps to make my skin look plump and healthy overall.

Have you tried any Good Molecules products?

Love,
Clíona xx
